Seaglass Ring Workshop - Sun 4th June

0/4 spaces available. Make your very own bezel set silver seaglass ring. A one day taster course where you will learn basic silver smithing skills in sawing, filing, forming, soldering and finishing or come along to build on the skills you already have and make use of the workshop space and teaching environment. Courses start at 10am and run no later than 4.30pm with a short break for lunch in Corfe Mullen, Dorset. This course is suitable for all abilities from absolute beginners to advanced, we run small classes of up to 4 students. Bring along your own seaglass (Jules will check and let you know if its suitable to use) or choose a piece from Sea & Solders collection. On this course you can choose between making your own seaglass ring, or alternatively you can make a bangle or cuff (with a additional charge of £15). (If you wish to make a pendant please see alternative course dates) A fun relaxed day, in a unique garden workshop. You will be greeted with a hot drink on arrival. The workshop has a small area for making as much tea and coffee as you can drink throughout the day and biscuits will be available. Please bring your own lunch for the day. The price of the course includes tuition for the day, one piece of sea glass/stone/pottery to use in your jewellery, enough silver to make a 2mm round ring or 4mm flat ring and bezel for a sea glass ring (Seaglass size up to 2cm, see photos for examples) as well as the use of the workshop and tools. If you wish to make a larger piece of jewellery please contact Jules in advance, there will be an additional charge for silver (£1.50 per gram) and a bangle/cuff can be made with 2mm silver wire this has an extra charge of £15. In addition to this we also have a treasure box of seaglass and cabochons (Semi precious flat backed stones) and an additional stock of silver that can be purchased on the day if you wish to make a larger piece like a bangle. Cancelation Policy

Cancelation Policy If you are unable to attend a workshop you have booked please let Sea & Solder know as soon as possible. We require a minimum of 21 days notice if you wish to cancel a booking. This time will allow us to try and resell your workshop place. If we successfully resell your place you will be given a full refund however if we are unable to sell your place then no refund will be given. ​If you fail to attend the course in full or part on the day no refunds can be made. ​​ By booking and paying for a workshop you are confirming your agreement to these terms. In this event you will be notified as soon as possible and you will be offered a full refund, or you may choose an alternative workshop date.
